Main site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück

The Tönnies Group was established in 1971 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. This is still the main site for the group. It is also the largest site for the Tönnies Group. The factory outlet, Tönnies childcare facility and Tönnies Arena can also be found here.

Factory outlet

The Tönnies factory outlet is opposite the administration building and offers a varied range of self-service meat, meat from our service counter, and sausages, fruit, vegetables and convenience products at discounted prices. The factory outlet restaurant directly next door offers indoor seating and a large outdoor terrace for more than 200 guests. Tönnies employees, visitors to the company and local residents are very welcome here.

Tönnies DRK childcare facility

The Tönnies DRK childcare facility is also at the main site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Since October 2011, the children of employees from the group have been cared for in this public day care centre, which has an area of almost 100m2, together with other children from the greater area of the town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Since August 2017, the day care centre has been certified as an NRW family centre.

Arena

In 2012, the Tönnies Arena opened its doors on the main site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. It is directly next to the administration building and can seat almost 4,000 guests in its stands. From local league games to regional league games to third division games, many regional clubs have already played on the heated artificial grass pitch, which is available year round. In addition, 16 company football teams currently train on the pitch of the Tönnies Arena and arrange friendly matches and tournaments against other company sports teams.
