The key to freshness and quality assurance is the integrated and fully documented inline production under one roof. The entire value creation chain, from slaughter to finishing to packaged product, takes place at one site. Amongst other benefits, this ensures continuous quality control and guarantees an uninterrupted refrigeration and hygiene line.
With over 40 years of experience and maximum technological performance, Tönnies has made a quantum leap in quality meat preparation with the introduction of fully automatic butchering. Butchering, finishing and packaging according to the requirements of our trading partners and the end consumer are part of our core business. We master this task like no one else, as our customers confirm time and again. Unique principle of quality and freshness
The Meat Division is split into Pork and Beef. Due to the different production locations and the individual requirements for the slaughter, butchering and processing of pork and beef, the Meat division was separated into specialised divisions in 2018.
The Tönnies principle has a major influence on the process steps and the quality of products produced in the two divisions. The basis is a unique concept of quality and freshness. With the sustainable Biological Unit for slaughtering, butchering and packaging pork under one roof, Tönnies achieves maximum product freshness.

Livestock
As a fully owned subsidiary of the TÖNNIES Group, we consider ourselves to be a partner of agriculture: with our focus on the sale, trade and transport of live animals for slaughter and production, we oversee the entire value-creation process from start to finish.
