The Meat Division is split into Pork and Beef. Due to the different production locations and the individual requirements for the slaughter, butchering and processing of pork and beef, the Meat division was separated into specialised divisions in 2018.
The Tönnies principle has a major influence on the process steps and the quality of products produced in the two divisions. The basis is a unique concept of quality and freshness. With the sustainable Biological Unit for slaughtering, butchering and packaging pork under one roof, Tönnies achieves maximum product freshness.
Tönnies beef guarantees maximum quality with its regional origin. Our cattle sites in Kempten in the Allgäu region, Wilhelmshaven and Badbergen in Lower Saxony, and Legden in Münsterland offer a direct and short route between the processing sites and the agricultural producers.
As a fully owned subsidiary of the TÖNNIES Group, we consider ourselves to be a partner of agriculture: with our focus on the sale, trade and transport of live animals for slaughter and production, we oversee the entire value-creation process from start to finish.
